WritingZap is a professional community of writers and the businesses that hire them. These guidelines apply to all interactive surfaces including profiles, testimonials, and any future community features.
Be Respectful
- Treat all community members with professionalism and respect
- Constructive feedback is welcome; personal attacks are not
- Respect diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences
Be Honest
- Represent yourself and your work accurately
- Don't fabricate testimonials, credentials, or experience
- Disclose AI usage honestly on writing samples
- Don't impersonate others
No Harassment
- No harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic
- No doxxing or sharing others' private information
No Spam
- No unsolicited self-promotion outside designated areas
- No bulk messaging or spam through the contact system
- No fake accounts or automated activity
Reporting
To flag violations, please use our contact form. Reports are reviewed within 24 business hours. Learn more on our Trust & Safety page.
Enforcement
Violations are handled through our Moderation Guidelines strike system. Severe violations may result in immediate account termination.
