Our Link Policy
WritingZap enforces a strict nofollow policy on all external links across the entire platform:
- Every external link on WritingZap renders with
rel="nofollow sponsored ugc" - This cannot be overridden by users, moderators, or administrators through any UI
- This applies to writer profiles, portfolio samples, job listings, blog posts, and all other pages
No Paid Links
WritingZap does not and will never:
- Sell links or link placement
- Accept paid guest posts
- Sell sponsored content placement within any editorial or user-generated content
- Charge for dofollow attributes
- Sell directory ranking or placement
SEO Outreach
If you are reaching out to WritingZap regarding link placement, guest posting opportunities, sponsored content, or any form of paid link arrangement: we respectfully decline. These solicitations are not reviewed or responded to.
Legitimate Linking
Writers may include links to their own work, personal websites, and social profiles as part of their portfolio. Employers include their company website in their profile. All such links are legitimate platform use and are rendered with nofollow attributes as described above.
