Tetra Tech is hiring a Senior Proposal Coordinator to support its Disaster Recovery Unit.
The role focuses on developing high-quality, competitive proposals while incorporating artificial intelligence, automation, and efficient workflows into the proposal development process.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing, editing, project coordination, and proposal management skills, along with experience using AI tools to improve research, content development, and document quality.
Key Responsibilities1. Proposal Development and Management- Manage the complete proposal development process, from initial planning and strategy to final review and submission.
- Coordinate with technical experts, project managers, business development teams, and other stakeholders to prepare competitive proposals.
- Create proposal schedules, outlines, compliance checklists, and production plans to ensure deadlines are met.
- Use approved AI tools to review requirements, organize information, support content drafting, and improve editing workflows.
- Write and refine technical proposals, executive summaries, and persuasive content that addresses client requirements.
- Prepare professional graphics, infographics, organizational charts, presentations, and supporting proposal materials.
- Review submissions for accuracy, consistency, formatting, compliance, and overall quality.
- Support client presentations, mentor junior team members, and identify opportunities to improve proposal processes.
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in proposal management, marketing, business development, or a related professional services field.
- Strong writing, editing, research, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools for professional writing, research, document review, or similar tasks.
- Proven ability to manage complex proposals, multiple projects, and demanding deadlines.
- Knowledge of proposal strategy, client requirements, and competitive business writing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- APMP certification or equivalent proposal management credentials.
- Experience developing proposals for government agencies or public-sector consulting projects.
- Background in engineering, environmental consulting, or professional services.
- Experience with graphic design, visual storytelling, team mentoring, or process improvement.
